L’nu visual artist from Ktaqmkuk (island of Newfoundland). I capture a diverse range of subjects for clients and artists. My work brings experiences to life through impactful colour imagery, and emotive monochrome photojournalism.
A lifelong visual artist with over 35 years behind the lens, I specialize in capturing people, places, and pivotal moments with creativity and precision. My professional work spans photography, marketing, communications and event management - more than a photographer; I’m a strategic partner bringing brands and events to life.
With a background rooted in planning and supporting conferences, concerts, media events, and campaigns, I collaborate closely with artists, event organizers, advertising agencies, and public relations teams. Together, we create compelling brand experiences that resonate with audiences.
As a professional marketing and communications specialist, I’ve guided targeted engagement strategies for national corporations, municipal and provincial governments, advertising agencies, and private sector clients. My goal is always the same: to deliver clear, effective messaging through powerful visuals and impactful storytelling.
Working for three years as the sole venue photographer for the Mary Brown’s Centre and St. John’s Convention Centre, my expertise in documenting large-scale events within Newfoundland & Labrador is unmatched. I am also proud to have served as the official photographer for the nationally televised 2025 East Coast Music Awards, leading a team to capture over 150 artist performances during a weeklong celebration of music and culture.
In addition to event work, I create fine art monochrome photography that explores the drama and emotive elegance of black-and-white imagery. These pieces merge cutting-edge digital tools with classic photographic techniques - celebrating the fusion of innovation and tradition within the arts.
A founding member of the Qalipu First Nation, I am deeply committed to cultural initiatives that promote equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, using art to strengthen and connect our communities.
